My goals are achievable , My goals are achievable given that i follow a strict routine and complete all tasks as set , achieve what i would have planned i expect myself to in a specified time frame . Though some of my goals may require more time depending on whether my other goals are achieved , most of my goals are complementary so they will mostly depend on each other . Some of the goals will require more determination , since they will need Certain aspects to fulfill . Buying a car would need a job I see an improvement in my life compared to where i was a few years ago and i hope to continue moving forward .

My Learning Needs

My learning needs .

I learn best at night and when i am refreshed and i am in a quiet environment , and in a comfortable posture usually whilst lying in bed . But when it comes to design and my brainstorming its usually in the morning . I usually just absorb knowledge in the morning since that's where i have maximum energy , I never sleep during the day unless i have overworked myself to an extent that i feel too tired or when i skip a nights sleep .

My learning barriers

I a usually distracted from learning by being upset or emotionally vulnerable at some instances , it is usually difficult for me to overcome these distractions but i usually isolate myself from the world , and suffer suppressed emotions , until i have an epiphany then i will slowly adjust and get back on track .

Creative writing and Quotes

Something you may never have thought of . An original extract of written work by Delali Kwame .

The swarm of the lifeless

As we drove in the heat from one end of the country t
o another , we saw the most spectacular appearance in our lives , an army that could cover the earth’s land five times , that was approaching us .Locusts the size of humming birds flew across destroying anything and everything in their path . At first my family and i thought we were safe and could escape and out - drive these creatures but we found a long traffic jam . A dark cloud appeared in front of us and there came riders in black who spoke a language that no man on earth could have understood . These riders had no flesh or life in them and were wholly effectively covered in cloaks .The swarm began to attack the cars and feed on the flesh of those who were unmarked . I had first noticed this symbol on my chest in the shower , it seemed to be a plain colorless engraving that appeared from nowhere and seemed as if i had been visited in my sleep , doctors and specialists analyzed the engraving but could not conclude what it was but assumed that it was a disease of our time that needed research to determine the solution , but I argued with them and said if statistics and lab reports have failed to unveil any dangerous substances or organs being affected then I would rather live with it . The painless marking I guess is what saved me from those vile creatures in a 2km radius that flew across me but devoured others -----------.To be continued

The Quest

It was on a rainy day offshore , as the strong waves and tides drove us completely off our course to an unknown destination . Soaked and frustrated from trying to control the wind sails and steer the ship we all sought warmth in the lower deck of the ship , we slept and lived in the lower deck for days , in fear of catching a disease form the cold or being a victim of the oceans deadly force , that would seek to appease it’s insatiable hunger for lives .

The noises of the wind and the thrashing sound of the deep blue ocean against the ships body was the only sound , that we heard for 3 days and three nights . On the third day , the situation became intense as all the food and resources began to run out , and as it’s a known fact and usual characteristic that humans in desperate need for a commodity or anything that they may deem as a need or want do not always behave or exhibit their usual behavioral contagion . Crewmen began to fight and lives were lost by drunken and delusional sailors . The time had reached to check and see what was on the outside and that’s what we did .

As we approached the top deck , with out feet shivering and our knees trembling with fear . , we could hear nothing but the sound of the old wooden staircases been thumped on by our boots . Sakia took the chance of being the first to open the floor lid and approach the top flight of stairs , as he got out he was frozen by shock and could not utter a word , then out of curiosity we all in a shaking state stepped up and out of the basement . To our surprise we found ourselves on an unfamiliar path , it looked as if we had reached the shore . The boat we were in____ ___to be continued

Gateways

As we walk out of one world we enter another , when I was hit by a bus I amazingly went into a state of limbo , I could tell that I was severely hurt and I was in a parabolic motion like an object in a vacuum waiting to touch down and momentarily come to rest . I felt helpless and broken , and felt as if when I finally reach the ground my eyes will shut and I will never open them again . I could not feel any of my limbs or joints and this journey was going on and on and I wondered when it will eventually come to an end .
My eyes shut like a baby who has been put to sleep , by the sweet sound and melodies of a classical lullaby , it were as if I was dreaming yet merely did I know that I was entering my second life unprepared and unknowingly . My dressing was quite familiar since I was wearing a white long sleeved shirt and a white trouser . At first glance I appeared to be somewhere in the clouds and I wondered where the path in which I was placed and was involuntarily taken to was going to end . Barefoot I was , and with tender feet and hands that were soft and unused .

I entered a door that seemed at a layman’s first glance to be sealed shut , the password was just one exhalation towards it and from there onwards my life had began . Each second , minute , hour and day from this point onwards was now a subtraction as in the mechanism of an hour- glass . Everything in this new place was extraordinary , to move all you needed to do was to think of the direction and the speed and altitude you desire to move at . I was an angel to _ _ _be continued

For protection of my work i cannot upload all my short stories , quotes and incomplete novels . The snapshots show how many i have so far , up to date , ideas come into my head usually in the morning and i have to keep a reminder on a piece of paper or picture , in order for me to write when i am free .

It's up to the reader to decide what they think of my work .

Being real and Realistic about my Goals

I am the captain of my strengths and i am driven by my intuition .

I do believe my goals are realistic because i have put a lot of thought into them , hence i have done a great deal of research about what i would like to achieve in life , and where i would like to be in a few years , and what i would love to achieve as an ultimate goal in my life .

Some of my goals may require more time to achieve depending on barriers that i may come across , and in life it is quite normal and realistic for people to plan , but at the same time it is wide to leave a considerable amount of reservation for natural plights and inescapable circumstances that are beyond our understanding .

If the worst is to happen in life , it is considered to be normal to suffer depression , disappointment or temporarily questioning yourself about why you need to live ,or why you are alive . In everything that i will do there will be a risk and in everything that i have done in the past there was a consequence . Often poor utilization of time is a consequence and set back to everyone that , they would refuse to acknowledge but in reality there are always two choices .

Personally i feel i could have completed my studies by now if i had done one of the normal majors , that everybody does , like Business studies or psychology but that would not have been in my best interests . There are decisions in life that we make that change our lives forever for example , i pursued my first year of Secondary education at a good top ranking school in terms of facilities and sporting advancement but not intellectually , but i studied subjects that mostly were irrelevant to me like Latin , and i had to partake in compulsory sports , although i was a good athlete , short and medium distance sprinter to be precise , but one decision in my life to change schools to a mission boarding school enabled me to get first hand experience of how life was out of the city and how to associate with people of different social classes and discover the meaning of true companionship and the great things and saddening things that come to pass in life . The complex Lego pieces i put together as a child often got my teachers upset in that i built them alone and instead of building uniform pyramids or buildings that had a bigger base i would somehow manage to do it the opposite way or even link structures together and could not build anything with the other kids because they followed uniformity and logical reasoning . I have accepted how i am and cannot change that trait but instead i am embracing it , nothing gives me a thrill more than people appreciating my work .

by pursuing Technical drawing and joining a writers club . My creative nature and thirst to always design something unique , from other students and peers .

Though i have spent the last two years is a design degree that i did not manage to complete due to circumstances beyond my control in Malaysia , i always feel and look at the bright side of things , and i would describe myself as a toddler that discovered how to solve puzzles and took great interest in that thereof . I feel great about this personal trait and characteristic and wish to develop it further in a way that will be rewarding and meaningful to me . Goals in life are complementary and in order to excel i believe that i have to apply the same principle in everything that i do .

I would love to always find my own way of doing things .

Now add up how many A’s, B’s and C’s you selected.

A’s =14 B’s = 7 C’s =9

If you chose mostly A’s you have a VISUAL learning style.

If you chose mostly B’s you have an AUDITORY learning style.

If you chose mostly C’s you have a KINAESTHETIC learning style.

Some people find that their learning style may be a blend of two or three styles, in this case read about the styles that apply to you in the explanation below.

When you have identified your learning style(s), read the learning styles explanations and consider how this might help you to identify learning and development that best meets your preference(s).

Now see the VAK Learning Styles Explanation.

VAK Learning Styles Explanation

The VAK learning styles model suggests that most people can be divided into one of three preferred styles of learning. These three styles are as follows, (and there is no right or wrong learning style):

  • Someone with a Visual learning style has a preference for seen or observed things, including pictures, diagrams, demonstrations, displays, handouts, films, flip-chart, etc. These people will use phrases such as ‘show me’, ‘let’s have a look at that’ and will be best able to perform a new task after reading the instructions or watching someone else do it first. These are the people who will work from lists and written directions and instructions.

  • Someone with an Auditory learning style has a preference for the transfer of information through listening: to the spoken word, of self or others, of sounds and noises. These people will use phrases such as ‘tell me’, ‘let’s talk it over’ and will be best able to perform a new task after listening to instructions from an expert. These are the people who are happy being given spoken instructions over the telephone, and can remember all the words to songs that they hear!

  • Someone with a Kinaesthetic learning style has a preference for physical experience - touching, feeling, holding, doing, practical hands-on experiences. These people will use phrases such as ‘let me try’, ‘how do you feel?’ and will be best able to perform a new task by going ahead and trying it out, learning as they go. These are the people who like to experiment, hands-on, and never look at the instructions first!

People commonly have a main preferred learning style, but this will be part of a blend of all three. Some people have a very strong preference; other people have a more even mixture of two or less commonly, three styles.

When you know your preferred learning style(s) you understand the type of learning that best suits you. This enables you to choose the types of learning that work best for you.

There is no right or wrong learning style. The point is that there are types of learning that are right for your own preferred learning style.

Please note that this is not a scientifically validated testing instrument – it is a free assessment tool designed to give a broad indication of preferred learning style(s).
